The WritingAssessment.com domain name has been taken over in 2021 by Michelle Lasar Matheny, who is now establishing her own writing instruction business. Until her website is ready, these materials will still be available here. Michelle homeschooled her own children and has a secondary English certification and a Master of Arts in English. Since 1996 I have offered writing instruction mostly for secondary students, mostly from a classical Christian education perspective. Now that I am editing and writing through Moraine's Edge Books, I am retiring the site for Writing Assessment Services and moving select materials to this site. These resources are offered on a self-study basis as courtesy accompaniments to brief consultations - let me help you make the most of them.
